A mid-range smartphone, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion 5G is preferred for its curved pOLED display, bloatware-free UI and strong IP water protection
Among the mid-range 5G phones in India, one of the bestsellers is the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion. This phone was announced in India on 2nd April 2025 and it went on sale from 9th April 2025. It worked as a replacement for the Edge 50 Fusion from 2024 and currently sits in Motorola's mid-range Edge series. The phone is easily available on sites like Flipkart, Amazon and Motorola India official website. It is also available offline at select retail stores.
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion - Price
At the time of its launch, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion was priced at Rs 22,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and Rs 24,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. However, users were able to get it at a lower price with bank offers. With these offers, the base model cost around Rs 20,999.
As of October 2026, prices have reduced further. The base model now sells for roughly Rs 20,900 on Amazon, while the 12GB + 256GB version is around Rs 25,000 to Rs 25,500, depending on where you buy. Motorola Edge 60 Fusion remains a strong value pick under Rs 25,000.
Key features of Motorola Edge 60 Fusion
One of the standout features is its display. It has a 6.67-inch 1.5K quad-curved pOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and an unusually high 4,500 nits peak brightness. The phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Reviewers consistently rate this screen as one of the best in its segment for color and brightness.
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset (a 4 nm processor) with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It is expandable via microSD up to 1TB. Software is Android 15 with Motorola's Hello UI, and it promises three years of OS upgrades plus four years of security updates.
Cameras are a 50 MP Sony LYT700C main sensor with OIS, a 13 MP ultrawide that doubles as a macro lens, and a 32 MP front camera. The third rear lens is actually a light sensor, not a camera. Both front and rear can shoot 4K video. The battery is 5,500 mAh in India with 68W fast charging. According to reviewers, the battery easily lasts a full day. Build quality is pretty good with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings as well as MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification.
Cons and rivals
However, just like other phones, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has some limitations. For example, the phone has relatively slower performance. The Dimensity 7400 trails rivals like the Poco X7 Pro and OnePlus Nord CE in raw speed and gaming. Interestingly, the India variant also lacks NFC. This can be a deal breaker for someone who uses tap-to-pay. There is also no wireless charging and no telephoto zoom lens.
In this price band, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion directly rivals the Nothing Phone 3a, Samsung Galaxy A56, OnePlus Nord CE 4/5, Poco X6 Pro and Poco X7 Pro. The Edge 60 Fusion beats most of them on display quality, battery life, durability and design. However, it falls behind on gaming performance (Poco X7 Pro) and software update length (Samsung). If you value looks, screen and endurance over heavy gaming, it is a well-rounded choice. But if you play a lot of games or need NFC, you can consider the available alternatives.
